Another song was uploaded-- "A Night in Purgatory". I recommend to anyone with a slow computer or connection to download it, rather than try to listen to it via myspace. So everyone go check it out.

Yep, I'm still working on that goddamn show... :/

Well, so far the considered are:

Something Rotten-- Placebo (Audrey)
Sacrificial Suicide-- Deicide (Cake)

I still have to download a couple other Placebo songs to consider them, but so far, those are the considered. There's still time to submit your two songs! You have until Saturday at 5.

What's recorded so far:

1. Aurora
2. Is it Raining Where You Are?
3. Meander
4. A Night in Purgatory
5. Cantare De Inferi Ad Dagon
6. Through Nocturnal Domains (Re-recorded version)

There will be a lot more.

Oh, and by the way Greg, apparently Midwinter Storm DOES have an Electronica-ish song or two. It's in my shared folder on Ares, so there's a teeny chance you can download it, but I'm going to include it on the next CD anyway.

[If it's not Midwinter Storm, than it's probably.... |Mortiis-- Parasite God]

I'm delaying the next disc because I'm going to create a weird EP of a few new songs, a few re-recorded older ones, a cover, and some songs that were supposed to be on the last two CD's that weren't for one reason or another.

That is the CD cover for the EP or Compilation, "The Conceiled Litanies".

I decided to do kind of a fan sweepstakes thingy. Basically, name two songs you would like to hear me do a cover of. The winner will have A.) One of their choices picked, recorded, and put on myspace B.) The first copy of the upcoming disc autographed by me (Depending on where you live, I'll mail it to you)
Don't request anything dumb. Seriously now, songs you could actually see me doing. You have until... well, I'd like to get started as soon as possible, so let's say.... Saturday. Post your requests in the form of an entry, not a comment.

Other than that, Desolation's Rest is done and is available for order on Monday (gotta get printer ink).

Midwinter Storm also now appears on Doom-Metal.com, as well as Metal-Archives.com so you should go check it out. I'm not going to explain how to find my profile, if you can't, you're too stupid for my music anyway.

I uploaded a new song on myspace. It's called Aurora. This one isn't really scary, just kind of sad in a dramy sort of way. I want posts of your feedback, or die.

[If it's not Midwinter Storm, than it's probably.... |Not Another Teen Movie]

This completely slipped my mind.

Not long after Desolation's Rest was finished, I gave it to a friend of mine that write's articles for RAG magazine. We had an interview over the phone that was pretty interesting. He said he'd try to get it published in there, but I'm doubtful-- No one in Ft. Lauderdale has enough taste. I know him well, and he's heard mostly everything else I've made. So here's what he emailed me (I just got it):

Things are going slow, but they're moving, I think.

I recently compiled a strange goody bag of songs, that were once long lost, but thanks to some careless rummaging, have been restored to their original form. These songs include old acoustic demos, variations of newer songs, 3 songs written for Heidi a long time ago, and weird oblong tracks I made specifically to amuse my boredom, as told by such memorable titles as "Rap Music was Made For Dumbasses and Shit-eaters", "Irresponsible Sex With Heather Locklear", "The Cookie Monster is the Meaning of Life", and "I Secretly Have Photographs of George Bush Drunk at a Party" (I'm not kidding). There's about 2 hours and 45 minutes worth of this lost material, the epic songs written for Heidi once upon a time taking up a good 50 minutes by altogether, and various other goodies. There are even odd recording sessions with Andrew, Danny, John, and some other things, though sadly, their quality isn't as great as I'd want it to be.

The material is very raw, but this was the beginning.

I also found this:

"Light is not shed, it is born, as a fire is ignited between the swift friction of two stones, we were two elements destined to collide and spark the wrath of passion in my knowlege. My burden of truth is madness and persecution, for those that bear the secrets of the wizard behind the curtain are snuffed out of existence, as is the light. When they throw their stones, I will stand with strength, because in my death stirs the catalyst for revolution, and in revolution, my will has conquered all."

Me, June 2004

It was a piece of paper attatched to a strange piece of music similar to one of the tracks on The Prophet and the Jackal. It's more than a year old, but it was very odd to listen to, because the song held this very otherworldly quality I can't explain.

Pictures later.
